Office Assistant

To thrive in the role of our Office Assistant, you’ll need to be a upbeat, fun and friendly, ray of sunshine who loves variety, can work independently, communicate well and be super organized. We are looking for a motivated individual with a desire to grow and learn new things. You may have experience from a different field other than technology, but you will have a proven ability to work under pressure and prioritize. The right candidate will play an integral part in the future expansion of our growing custom software company.

  • Some sales support experience is desirable
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly
  • Familiar with Macs and G-Suite
  • Curiosity for new technologies, SAAS services, off-the-shelf software, and emerging trends.
  • Experience managing the calendar of a busy office
  • Ability to write and proofread for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy
  • Willingness to build high level proficiency with our internal CRM fmIgnite, MailChimp, and Hubspot, and update content on our WordPress website

Ideal Skills/Qualifications

  • 2+ years work history with in retail, sales, business, client services, or communication settings
  • Strong preference to candidates with a degree in advertising, marketing, communication, business or a related field, but other experience and traits will be considered.
  • Position is located in our Minneapolis office.


  • Greet guests and set the tone for their positive visit at LuminFire
  • Answer any queries via phone, email and general correspondence
  • Support information entry and research in various tools
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and orderliness of office, through procedures and housekeeping.
  • Manage calendars, meeting set-ups, travel itinerary, scheduling and event coordination
  • Assist with personal administration duties for the leadership team
  • Provide arrangements for meetings and presentations
  • Manage kitchen including dishwasher and cleanup
  • Order office snacks and supplies
  • Help with mail delivery and FedEx/UPS shipping
