Brenda Cimbura, COO and co-founder of LuminFire, spoke to a standing-room only crowd at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Twin Cities WordCamp. Her topic resonated with so many in the room that we thought we should share it with you. It’s about 30 minutes with questions answered at the end.
Successful professionals move ideas and people from here to there. Everyday, professionals are asked to learn new skills, implement change, and do things they’ve never done before. It’s easy to begin to feel overwhelmed, inadequate, and incompetent, despite evidence that suggests that you’re skilled and good at what you do. You are not alone. Studies suggest that 70% of professionals face these feelings during their career. If not confronted, these beliefs may hold you back from your fullest potential. This talk is designed to provide ideas to help you build professional confidence, conquer “imposter syndrome”, and live more wholeheartedly.
We know that in this season of social distancing and masks that it’s more important than ever to find ways to be inspired both personally and professionally. Enjoy this video talk from a time when we could all be in person, in the same room, and free from wearing masks.
