FileMaker DevCon 2016 (Developer Conference)

The FileMaker Developer Conference is coming up later this summer July 18-21, 2016 held at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.

Our team of Cimbura.com developers will be going to learn about the latest FileMaker and web development techniques and products. There will be four intense days with over 1,500 other developers from all around the world. We’ll have a chance to talk directly with the engineers that build FileMaker to get the inside scoop on how things work and what the future holds.

Previously, Cimbura.com, Inc. had the honor of our custom iPad applications being demonstrated during a session at DevCon as one of the premier examples of a mobile solution based on FileMaker Go. Our custom iPhone application was shown last year and we won the Mad Dog PR award. Last year we were honored to be announced as a FileMaker Business Alliance Platinum Partner!

This year we will be sharing our latest WordPress FileMaker integration solutions at the conference! Stay tuned for more details.

We will have several team members working with other FileMaker experts at the DevCon “Visionary Bar” at the FileMaker vendor showcase. This is the FileMaker version of the Apple Genius bar. We’ll be there to offer free advice and troubleshooting assistance.

One of the great things about DevCon is that it’s usually held somewhere extremely hot in the middle of the summer…Phoenix, Palm Desert, Miami, San Diego, San Antonio, and this year in Las Vegas. That way, all the developers can work on their tans in between sessions.

For developers that would like to see the history of FileMaker and DevCon as well as keep track of their DevCon history, we’ve created a  FileMaker database to track all past events going back to the first “FileMaker DevCon” in 1996.

It includes a timeline of FileMaker history, tips for devcon, news about FileMaker, etc. Info like the location, theme, and attendance numbers of previous DevCons as well as some subjective info…such as the “Lazy River Rating” is right there for you.
