Andy is a computer geek with an affinity for the natural world. He’s been developing FileMaker and web solutions for more than 15 years. He excels at working with spatial data, creating maps, navigating legacy systems, and making the complex simple. Andy has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Geographic Information Science from the University of Minnesota. He is proficient with front-end web development, Python, PHP, Applescript, all things Macintosh, and he really likes to push the limits of FileMaker Pro.
For many years, Andy has planned and guided trips everywhere from the Apostle Islands to East Africa with a local organization known as Wilderness Inquiry…if you’re interested in canoeing, kayaking or climbing Kilimanjaro just talk to him. In his spare time you’ll find him hanging with his wife and daughters, paddling, biking, or volunteering with local nonprofits.
