What did I do with all the free time I had due to the COVID-19 quarantine? I convinced my wife that I needed a room in the basement devoted to my LEGO obsession.
With a steady stream of LEGO bricks coming in the mail, we spent our evenings building a model of Disney World – a representation of our happy place to contrast the outside world which wasn’t feeling so happy. There were lots of details.
I was also really missing our office, which I didn’t see much of during the COVID-19 quarantine season. I really like our office, and found myself missing the incredible work environment and our amazing team. So I built a few models of the LuminFire office as well.

After seeing these office photos you might wonder how we get any work done there…with a ping pong table, foosball, game room, enough snacks to feed an army, etc. Honestly, we are often so heads down that it requires a concerted effort to remind us to play. We know that giving our minds a break makes us more creative and brings out new inspiration and brilliant ideas.
We’re looking forward to getting back to the office soon. Zoom and Google Hangouts are great but aren’t the same as face-to-face. We miss being together. Once all the COVID-19 craziness is done, we’d love to have you stop by our office space as well…and you can judge for yourself how accurate the LEGO models are.
